Beckers was here last year for a BLA party (or was it D-Nox? I forget). Although, think I missed most of his set because I was in the Chillout room. Psytrance mosh pit in a room full of mirrors = me questioning if I'm even human or not :) as fun as it was, I'd need to escape frequently to catch my breath.
Caught D-Nox at Eclipse and really enjoyed his set. Would be good to have the two do a Cherry Beach or something next summer. |

Would be nice to get Audion booked as Audion again. That said, Matthew Dear and his Big Hands (his band) are playing at Wrongbar soon, but it's on a Thursday night and i have an exam I need to study for a few days after, so I'll probably miss it. Everyone seems to over that project of his, but saw it at Mutek a few years ago and enjoyed it myself. |

The Mod Club party had such a weird ending, would be nice to see Hawtin in a better venue that ran later. TIL sucks as a venue, Mod Club was 'ok' (not the best set), and how the party ended was ????.
Of the times I've seen him in Toronto, his set at Kabin I liked the most - too bad I had work in the morning and needed to leave early. One of those nights when I didn't even have a single beer in my system and was dancing up a storm.
Hawtin in late-90s head mode at CZ would be a trip :) |
