I was a WMC noob this year and we made the mistake of staying in Miami Beach; dont want to make the same mistake this year as the cost of transportation out weighed what we thought we were going to be saving on lodging.
Question is, those of us that went came back raving (no pun intended);) about how great of a time we had that we managed to round up a decent number of friends for WMC 2009, around 12+ or so, and we are looking at the option of possibly renting a House in South Beach. I hear this is a good option for larger parties, in both comfort and cost.
I would like to see if there is anybody with experience in this matter. A week at the Shelbourne for example will be $2700+ and that only sleeps 4. I think that a house might give us more bang for the buck. Any WMC vets out there with input?
