Dion is not the ideal leader, IMHO, but Harper is a complete douchebag.

I much prefer the Liberal platform too (which can be downloaded as a pdf from this page: http://www.liberal.ca/platform_e.aspx )

+1 to both of these.

well to make them feel better, they can create the same poll in the montreal section and include the bloc. Since Ontario residents can't vote for them, I decided not to add them.

It's not that we *can't* vote for them, they just don't have any candidates running in Ontario. ;)

sadly, I think more will tune in to the U.S. VP debate to see if Palin trainwrecks.

This would seem to be the more important criteria on which to base a vote (IMO) rather then the relative douchebaggery of one leader to another.

absolutely...but leadership is relevant. While there is no way I would vote CPC with Harper as leader, I also wouldn't vote Liberal if I didn't believe in the platform. I'd throw away a vote to the NDP or Green as a protest, lol.

Anyone who dislikes the CPC and is contemplating NOT voting Liberal should at least take a look at the platform before making up their mind though, IMHO.

Layton is not PM material (but might make an interesting leader of the opposition) and the Green party will be lucky to win a seat or two.

And Dion would make a stellar PM?:nervous:

Harper is bad, but not as bad as Dion.

This is going to be the worst election ever, ending in another minority government.

I'd kill to have an election as interesting as the Obama/McCain tet-a-tete.

agreed. there's just been so much hype about it. thanks to the front page news of the local newspaper to the SNL opening skits, this is really going to draw a large portion of viewers away from the canadian debates.
