invented by 4 PhD students at the Harvard of Spain, I think.
You can find an article on the creators of reactables in the upcoming issue of Gradient Magazine, which can be viewed in GRADIENT MAGAZINE . You can find copies of Gradient at various fashion boutiques in the LES/SOHO/Chinatown area.
