| Maybe a meteor will strike the next NFL owner's meeting and take him and Mike Brown out. We can only hope. |

Yeah, the man is just over-the-hill with his management and needs to get some fresh blood into that role. Al Davis should just sit back and enjoy the success as an owner and don't with the operations.
To be fair the team did pretty well under him in 70's and 80's tho... I guess times and styles change and he failed to keep up with the program. |

I think a problem is that other owners look at Jerry Jones and think they can operate their teams the way he does when in reality 99% of owners don't have what it takes to be running the football side of things and should just stick to the business aspect. These owners are almost always delusional when it comes to their ability to run the football operations (Al, Mike ing Brown, etc) and think they are doing a fine job it is just their coach or players that are falling short.
At least the Raiders have some glimmer of hope, Al Davis is old and won't be around for ever. Here in Cincy Mike Brown has already trained his kids on how to run a football franchise into the ground and they will take over for him when he is done. The only hope we have is the entire Brown family is killed at the same time, they do something illegal and are forced to sell the team, or they move to another city and we get an expansion team. |
