They were the best team in baseball in September and it continued tonight. I'm stoked with the way the team looks. Also because I got tix for Sunday and got out of work that day. With the Dodgers playoff record since 1988 I was worried about missing the game because of a sweep. I still am. What if the Dodgers sweep? Puts a loyal fan in kind of a funny spot when you're holding tix for game 4.
Oh yeah...and we need to pay Manny what ever he needs to stay. Aside from obvious offensive contributions, he has totally transformed that clubhouse. He's found a new home in LA. |

Maybe I should make this a "Manny 4 MVP" thread. We've all seen what he's done with the Dodgers...but just look at his overall numbers for the season.
37 HR (4th in majors, 4th in NL)
121 RBIs (6th in majors, 3rd in NL))
.332 avg (3rd in majors, 3rd in NL)
Pujols is the only one close in numbers but in terms of "V"alue to his team...no one has done more. |

i was at the rally at Dodger Stadium on sunday. it was cool to see Manny get on the mike and say 'please help them to bring me back next year'. ive been a fan for soooooo long and i cant remember the last time I have been so excited.
