Hi Vandit-Fans, especially Starfox hehe!
Just listened to an interview with Paul van Dyk, I decided to
write something about it.
Paul said, the name VANDIT had been found when he had played
SCRABBLE (sure, you know this game). They had drunk about 2 bottles of red wine and then someone invented the word "Vandit". I believe,
everybody can imagine this situation. Red Wine + lousy letters =
strange new words!!!
Hope, I could help.

no dit means nothing in German :)
and Van isnīt used here, too. In German van = von = from |

Hello,
heh, I did not know this. I have never bothered asking. Eventually I will though.

| my response has nothing to do with vandit, but isn't van dyk pronounced "van dook" and not "van dyke", too? or something to that effect? |

There was an interview on a german Radio-station called Sputnik but it had been in german.
For that reason I translated it and post it.

| i thought the name came from a bad spelling of bandit because when you want to type b the v is close to the b. so i thought it was someone with fat fingers and couldnt type. :) |
