I always consider L.A as my second home. Given we have a big EDM scene in Toronto we don't have any nicer of crowds sometimes. I went to MM in 2006 and that was way overpacked and most people there had no idea what was going on. It was so overpacked that it was noted on Wikipedia. Even the girls who were high on god knows what making out in the stands (but were quite nice to me) had no idea who was on. L.A should be thankful they get these massives where as in Toronto we don't for many reasons I'd rather not get into.
But for everything I have read here I won't disagree that as someone who loves the music as much as everyone else here does I myself have been turned off from going to these events and don't go anymore. Back in the day they actually were so worth going to. Then again like everything else, it gets big enough, then we all start seeing the unnecessary crowd it comes with cause it is "cool" to be there instead of liking it for what it is. |

the lineups for these things don't even matter anymore, just grab 2 or 3 djs off the djmag top 10, add in a few fillers....and its almost the same every year, the ppl who go don't even care who's on.
but besides that, anywhere else you go you'll have some ppl who just go to get ed up and couldn't care less about who's playing. |

Here is a very BRIEF explanation of the place.
The MOST sketchy club you can ever go to. That is all. It is really not an experience you can explain very well. |

this is correct. the club is called comfort zone, or the zone, or cuzo as most of the locals like to call it here. No real explanation, possibly one of the strangest places to be. Put it this way, it is like an underground basement not very well kept with bathrooms girls and boys share most of the time :)
On a sunday after all night partying people will go there at 8 am, and it will go till bout 11 pm Sunday night. Most of the people going that straight from clubbing or whatever all night facade they were on would be trippin on balls listening to horrible house music. YET! people there every week, and it is one of the few clubs you see people taking pictures at. Don't go there to pick up :) it gets raided often too. |

Pictures?! There were NONE taken when I was there. A few people told me NOT to take my camera out as it will get confiscated.
Oh and yeah...that is a place that is really hard to explain. Even that doesn't explain the half of that place. |

lol exactly, it is like the matrix...you have to see it for yourself. They are right gettin cameras in is hard at that place so you are lucky if you get shots or even video, even on YT you'll barely find stuff and it is too dark to look at. Not a flashy place by any means. |
