Good idea - maybe they should have learned it before they went out of business. I wouldn't pay a cover for any Milwaukee event, much less one with a headliner I've never heard of.

I haven't paid to get into a club in Chicago more than once or twice in 3 or more years - to this day I'm astounded at the number of times I'm out in Milwaukee and people want a cover for this kind of rubbish.

Nevertheless, the bar has been sold to the owners of silk and well they have money to blow like no other so if i was the owners of eurobar... i too would jump at the chance when some whale comes along and makes me an offer i cant refuse...

LOL...I do understand I am posting in a trance forum...I dont expect to receive much love from many of the house DJ's I book...I've been doing this for to long and know what works and doesnt work in this city. The city is desperate for any kind of talent and desperately needs it. I am sorry you dont agree with the choice but thats why you dont have to come its still going to be packed with or without you.

Feel free to email me who'd you like to see come to milwaukee and i will look into it and see if its economically possible with the club of choice and milwaukeenights.com. so in stead of ranting I will be more than happy to listen to your choices and if it makes sense i can make it happen...All I ask is to be smart about your choice/s and ask yourself will enough people come out to support DJ ?????
cheers...

Well, I have heard good things about Tony Arzadan. A cursory look/listen @ btpt shows that he seems to have some tight releases on Juicy, Funktion, Movement, and the like. Apparently he spends some time playing at Crobar from time to time. If I hadn't come down with a rotten cold this weekend, I would venture down to give him a chance for sure.

On another beat, I don't think there are many left on this board who are all about trance - sort of a funny joke with the name. I *believe* the vast majority of dj's. producers, and fans on this board would claim to be into a bunch of styles. So if anything, rrricccannn, I would encourage you not to forget the community on here when you promote events. We can get a little vocal and edgy (probly owing to the lack of sleep and obsessive love for the music which we all share), and Rob absolutely rocks at openly sharing his most candid and strong opinions and convictions. Maybe I am being too much of a peacemaker, but I say kudos to you both. And mke needs all the talent and promoters it can get, for sure!
