Camcorder for recording in clubs?
View this Thread in Original format

Do any of you know a good camcorder that will record well in a dark club type atmosphere?

The only real purpose will be for recording certian gigs, although I'm sure it will be useful in other situations as well...

(home porn....woot!)

Preferable one under $500? (if possible)

Thanks, feedback is appreciated...

I'm assuming Dima's post has a bit of sarcasm in it though due to the trouble Prometheus X got in for filming, being asked to not bring his camcorder into Guv again, or else he'd be kicked out.

which has nothing to do with the quality of his videos or the fact that he is probably somewhat knowledgeable about camcorders.

so yeah, he would be a good person to contact.

And when did I say he wouldn't be? I simply laughed at his post b/c I found it a bit humorous, as it appears others did too.

its basically the same concept as photography.
get a camcorder that has a wide aperture so you can capture as much light as possible (ie. f/2.8) and i would stick with either canon or sony.
