| Watched this today, some of it I totally agree with. I don't know about the whole venus project, interesting concept though. |

Thanks for the heads-up on this!
I watched it yesterday and for the most part really liked it. The "Venus Project" is fully a pipedream but very interesting none the less and has had me thinking about it non-stop over the last 24 hours...
The idea of a shiny/glossy perfect utopian society is really just too hard for me to imagine. (but I guess that's the point, we need to start somewhere)
ps. those magnet trains, crazy! |

| Venus project is simply :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: our society is so edup and corrupted that makes it impossible to think of a perfect society like how they described in the Venus project. |

I don't think they were saying this venus project would be the perfect world, just a lot better than our current one.
The part about renewable clean energy sources was pretty cool. Remindedme of a "Project Earth" video I watched on Discovery Channels internet t.v. the other day.
http://video.discovery.com/# (looks like the video has been changed)
The project was to create solar pannels in outter limits of the earths atmosphere, where they would yield the greatest amount of energy possible...it was really cool, but the hypothetical price tag was like 17 million billions (i might have the 17 wrong but the millions of billions is for sure right) and would bankrupt the world.
Which doesn't make sense to me because that project could power the entire world. Wouldn't it make sense to use any and all resources need for that project for free?... |

I like how they elaborated on their information from the first documentary regarding the central bank and its operations. Much better than the first movie.
The only way America or North America in general can avoid a massive catastrophe and an uprising is if the general population starts to wake up and learn. I can’t see that happening in a hundred years, especially not for the American population.
If all this interests you, you should do some research regarding the North American Union. Canada’s economy is already so tied in to this mess, and it will basically be America in few years.
I just didn’t think much of the Venus project, just watch the first parts of the movie ;) |

I liked the first part quite a bit. The whole venus project was a bit over the top. I might have been more accepting if the guy being interviewed about it didn't come off as a total clut leader kind of guy.
If anyone is more interested in the economic side of the movie you should really spend the time and check out this site.

Watch his movies, they put complex economic theory into terms that normal people understand. He covers most of the zeitgeist subject matter without as much of the conspiracy theory edge to it. Just real facts with real sources. |
