Sundriver returns to Red Force with a follow-up to his debut anthem "Feel," this time with his friend, Adam Stodtko. Their combined efforts first originated as a project started by Adam for his girlfriend, but at some point Sundriver stepped in to help finish the track. The result: "Monique," a dreamy, summery production with loads of lushious pads, driving percussion and a soft but playful bassline, all topped off with a smooth, creamy lead. This one's certain to satisfy, especially if you've enjoyed any of their previous work.
First up on remix duties comes Temple One, with a smooth, sublime remix that follows the original formula. Using his trademark sound, Temple One adds in his own pads, percussion and a few catchy (and gorgeous!) leads. Up next is label resident Evbointh, who adds a bit of tech-influenced trance to create a rather funky and uplifting interpretation. A bouncey bassline and playful synths are backed by a euphoric synthetic string ensemble, along with a soaring lead and some neat piano riffs.
Robert Burian returns after the success of his "Feel" remix to conjure up another funky progressive masterpiece. Banging basslines, gorgeous pads and a plucky lead are just a few key characteristics of Robert's particular sound, which will surely be in high demand in the future.
Lastly Redstar teams up with Evbointh to create a powerful remix. Taking on some of Evbointh's ideas from his effort, Red adds his personal touch to create a full-on uplifting remix that's packed with just enough energy and emotion to round off the release properly.
More than just a follow-up, this release will prove to last more than just a few courtesy plays in the box. Go ahead and give 'em a play and see what you think :)
