Lunar Phase 7
The Problem:

- I have some educational CDs and DVDs I wanna copy for a buddy to use too.

The Question:

- Is there software that can create like an image of the disk so I can simply burn a duplicate without messing around with copying files and defeating copyright stuff?

The details:

- It is nothing major like Microsoft, he needs the stuff to do one assignment, but I need it too.

- One of the is a DVD.

i'm not too knowledgeable in this, but why don't you try googling around reading about burning ISO images. look for some software that can rip the CD into an ISO image on your hard drive, then use nero or something to burn the ISO on to a CD and from I understand, that should be an exact copy of the CD.

aye nero will do the job.but if you want a exact copy of title cover then you need some type of scaner.
most printers come with them as standerd.

But an Iso file is all I need even for DVDs?

What burning program do you use? Usually they have a built in "Copy Disk" feature you can use. That is unless it has some sort of copy protection.
