I grew up in the north and went to college in FL (Tampa), so I can kind of relate. All in all, it was awesome! Change in scenery, escape the cold for a few years, and of course I met all kinds of amazing people from all over the place. So at the end of the day, do you want to stay in your bubble or get out and try something new... IMO these chances don't come up very often... so do it! Miami is an amazing city.

Indeed you will and no I don't hate you Gerard - I hate Pacha but still have to go this weekend since the boyfriend loooooooves Ferry.

Up to me - I'd never step foot in that hell hole - ever again.

Anyways. I saw where your school is. Becareful. Surrounded by every nice area is the ghetto. Your school kinda borders it.

It is before the train tracks on West Dixie Hway in NMB but just before Biscayne Blvd (where to ur left you have all the fancy restaurants P.F Changs ftmfw!) and you also have Solid Gold (strip club) buahahha. To the right is cool - my favorite waxing salon is there Uni.K.Wax!

So yeah.. umm 163rd street is a bit ghetto. There's a ghetto mall so don't ever go to that 163 st. mall. Umm.. what else. It's weird around there - I suggest checking things out before "moving".

Miami doesn't see 1/10 of the Trance artists New York gets. So you'll be giving that up.

definitely.

Miami is still fun with the local residents. You are guaranteed a good time no matter what. Spring break is hella fun since all these white folks come from all over to party in Miami.

Sexy crowd.

Awesome spanish food.

WMC is fun but when you live there you got to master the balance of "work and/or school" + parties. It's easy - you're young.

Mel..i kinda figured it was near a ghetto..im probly gonna have to find some apartments and set up appointments and fly down there with my mom or something..i know im gonna be giving up parties big time but im ok with it cuz i wanna get this shyt done and i want to pass with flying colors to show my fam that i am really passionate about this..i have a feeling im gonna be lonely so the 1st thing im doing is buying a Rottweiler,my fave dog...either find one down there or find a breeder and have it flown to the airport..WMC should be fun cuz i wont have to pay for a hotel..and i think SAE would understand why i would be missing a class or leaving early..maybe there is no school on those days :conf:..i definetly wanna see what spring break is like down there..never actually been on spring break ina party spot..i cant wait to start saying hey u wanna come back to my place? lmao!..this is gonna be my 1st place!..im definetly gonna need a job down there..are there and Chili's close by? only cuz i used to work there and i know the menu pretty well...ugh i cant wait to get down there..maybe my 1st night at my new place we can throw a house warming party so i can meet all of you FLTA's that come and get ur #s and stuff.. and whoever wants to spin can..it will be a nice lil party..and we'll get Mel to be the host haha

Good luck with the move down here. Be warned, not a lot of trance in MIA, as others have said. So do not expect many trance DJ gigs.

Yet if you make it down b4 12/6, do not miss PVD @ Space. Lots of TAs will be there and he usually delivers big time there
