i just wanted to get some feedback on this mix i am workin on. so far it is 4.5 hours long. I add to it as I can. want to make this about 6-8 hours. i am using sound forge 6, cool edit 1.2 and adobe audition 1.5 to do various things with this mix

| Nice tracks in there. But...why so long? If you want to make a nice crafted, well thought out mix i think 2 hours is the max. Otherwise people will lose interest or will listen to it in parts losing the atmosphere of the mix. |

nonsense. DJs regularly play 3+ hour mixes in clubs and there's an even greater scope of demand for it for home listening whilst doing other stuff like working, gaming or travelling somewhere etc.
here's one i made earlier...
topic starter: a few interesting choices in there and the direction looks loosely coherent but there isn't really much else to judge from a tracklist alone |
