my mom gets sooo pissed off over outsourcing. whenever she has to call chase or whatever credit card company, she always gets someone in like india or some and she loses it and hangs up. lol

To be fair, they are ing idiots. They listen for key words, follow a script, and can't do if you say something that in even the slight bit is different than the script.

exactly. and her frustration is aimed more at the credit card companies for being cheap ing s and hiring these people rather than help w/ our own unemployment issues.

as an exworker for a callcenter i can say that even when some of the time thats true, usually we CANT get out of the script, the companies usually demand that the agents follow the script thoroughly... is not fun at all.

i was on the peoplepc cancellation department... i hated every second of it. the impotence of knowing they are stealing people money and that you are helping them.. argh
