Latest updates for VST's and Sequencers?

Hey guys -
I haven't been in the music production 'scene' for about a year. I was wondering, what new VST's have come out? What updates for old VST's have appeared? Any news on sequencer updates?

Well in one year, pretty much most software is updated. I would say its prolly safe to be that every major DAW has been updated and more coming around the corner. Vst's, that list could go on forever. Check out

Spectrasonics just released Omnishpere, a pretty fantastic "super-synth" that has received a lot of hype.
Camel Audio is about to release Alchemy, another super-synth that is getting a lot of hype.
Rob Papen released Predator, yet another subtractive synth that has been pretty popular.
Tone2 released Gladiator, yet another fantastic synth, and they released WarmVerb, a phenomenal multi-effect plugin that I highly recommend.
Those are the most notable VSTs that I can think of from the past year. |
