Chicago hotel question

What is the closest decent hotel to Spybar. I am sick of searching Orbitz and travelocity and hotels.com to find everything seems to be like miles away.
The Seneca seems to be my best bet without breaking my bank.... anyone have an opinion? |

| there are not very many hotels in that area, there's this amazing thing called public transport and taxis that work wonders i have heard. |

Thanks for the scarcasm. I want to be able to walk if possible... this is the first time we are taking public transportation to Chicago and will be without our car. I would prefer not to rack up taxi fees, etc... All I needed was "there are few hotels in that area" |

| Maybe, considering it is Friday and I am a freshman high school teacher, my students are huge hormone balls, and am pissed because I can't go see Lee tonight. You will owe me the next time we go to the same show. ;) |
