Anyone used one?

Got to demo one at AES last week and I thought it was awesome! It feels very solid and not cheaply built like a lot of other controllers, and you just can't beat the native functionality with Cubase 4. I highly doubt that it works with other programs, or if it does I'm it won't work exactly the same, but that's not really important, at least for me. Everything on the controller looks exactly how it appears in Cubase, so it's super easy to tell what you're doing without having to look at the screen. If Cubase is your main DAW or just a hardcore Cubase user, this is definitely worth the $399 price tag.

Yeah im using Cubase 4, they are expensive in UK for some reason(about $600)

the EQ knobs don't have LED rings, so you're going to be looking at your screen anyway (useless). all of the shortcut/transport buttons have keyboard shortcuts already mapped, so you could just get a cubase keyboard or stickers instead. likewise, single fader controllers are crap. i used the presonus one for a bit - scrolling through channels is so slow you will end up just clicking the channel directly. once you have gone this far, you might as well just use your mouse to move the fader!

i'm going to suggest you look into getting a griffin powermate or a coutour shuttle express. you can use these like the AI knob on the CC121 - put your mouse over a parameter and move the jog/ring. this is good for recording automation and they're really cheap. you can also assign them to zoom in, scroll left or right, etc.
