There IS NO WAY TO VERIFY WHAT YOU ARE DOWNLOADING. ESPECIALLY IF NO COPYRIGHT NOTICE IS GIVEN.
Also if the publisher does not inform you of a copyright violation, you have no way of knowing the "rules of distrobution" that exist on a file. As copyright may exist for reproduction of a work.. but it may be distributed free of charge, through themselves or third party distributors.
There is no way to know. |

This is possibly my favourite post at a different forum, :stongue: especially concidering the guy was like 13, and really immature and the demographic of the forum was pretty much either youngin and immaturin, or 35-50 year old history nut, who are all classy, and we're just like... now you aren't going to pirate this game at all are you? And he's trying to totally pass it off as a legit question. :tongue3
Thats not really the same as here, concidering he's not attempting to hide anything, and this is ta, quite different enviroment, but just thought I'd share. :gsmile: |
