I make my own wine... so the process is about the same
as for the CO2 buildup... get yourself an airlock, a cheap one is a dollar, and your container won't explode. or if you wanna go cheaper... just use a balloon with a couple pin holes in the top. at any rate... you'll want to release the pressure without ever opening the container during the fermentation, or else... in my case, I would end up making vinegar instead of wine. |
