Johnny Monsoon presents:
The Sound of Trance Podcast 02

Opening for John O'Callaghan
Available now on ITUNES

One of the US's brightest up and coming trance DJ's gives you a
first-hand listen to his live sets from various major club events and
radio shows. From an opening set where you'd hear a melodic
progressive sound with bits of house, techno and electro, to a peak
hour set full of uplifting euphoric trance, expect to hear it all.
He's been hand-picked to play directly alongside Paul Van Dyk, Armin
Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Ferry Corsten, ATB, Above and Beyond,
Blank and Jones, Markus Schulz, Kyau and Albert, Eddie Halliwell,
Christopher Lawrence, Sander Van Doorn, George Acosta and the list
goes on. Listen and hear for yourself why Johnny is going to be a
force to reckon with in the global trance scene.

| Think I'm gonna give this one a download. That tracklist looks pretty inetense for an opening set. |

I should have had them title it a bit differently. :D
At the clubs, during my "opening" sets its strictly for setting the tone for the night so its more proggy house/trance/minimal stuff.
The show where this podcast was recorded was an all ages "rave" (ugh i hate that term), so there was no real "opening" or "setting the tone". I think the first DJ who started the night off was playing at around 145bpm  |
