ATTN to AG users!

this is just a question that i have, from an experience i had last night while downloading a few tracks.
those of you who have been using AG for a while maybe could help me with this.
when i was downloading songs last night they would get to 100% then just disappear. My home would say that there were new tracks downloaded but i couldnt find them at all. not even on the satelite queue where it says how many Processing, Transferring , and New songs there are. I mean i didnt have this problem the frist 38 songs i downloaded so far.
so WTF, im gonna go check to see if its working right tonight, but man that totally pissed me off cuz i took me two hours to download 4 songs and they all just disappeared into thin air.
just in case you have any info on the matter id appreciate it.
I'll let you know if its better by tomorrow. |

They may have got to 99% and AG thinks you got 100% so it finishes the transfer.
Your com might have saved it as a temp file so if you have a look about using explorer you should be able to find the file dOOd ;)
This has happened to me a LOT even with livesets but I just use Cool Edit Pro to make it back to a normal file :D

AG is weird. Try and search for 'fire ice my love is pure', and then 'fire ice my love is pure original', or even 'fire ice my love is pure original mix'. You'll get different results.
Isn't it all a little strange? :D |

| yep yep!! this has happened 2 me quite a few times. just go 2 ur file where your downloads should be and select all files. the finished 1s will still be called .mp3.temp so just take the .temp off the end and there u go!:) |

Just yesterday, I tried out AG and some wierd things have been happening where I have complete files, but they just don't show up in my shared files. I'm guessing AG is trying something out to fix the copyright stuff. As long as I find ways to get my songs, then I wouldn't really care, but once in a while, it gets bothersome not to have that file in the share.
and the reason why sometimes the temp is left on is because maybe you are previewing the song while it just finished so it can't exactly complete it. If you don't want this to happen, then when it reaches to 99%, then don't open up the file! |

try searching for mis-spellings of tune names and you get some weird results :)
