Actually, it's much lower...he doesn't reach terminal velocity until about 15 seconds after he jumps. He gradually accelerates until he reaches 55m/s which is roughly 198km/h |

I remember reading somewhere many years ago about a guy who tried kill himself by jumping off the Tour Eiffel. He landed on a car below and killed the occupant, but the jumper survived. I'm pretty sure the article was accompanied with a picture of the car. Having been to the Tour Eiffel a number of times I'm not sure how he hit a car, there isn't a road underneath it... |
