Once again Zone owned my life. The mother of all after parties. Every dj brought their A game. Deko-ze was just ing MENTAL! Sketch factor seemed pretty low and the crowd was the perfect size - not too busy but still lots of people. The patio weather was just perfect. It was awesome of CZ to add YM in as the closers from 430-6 but I ended up getting extremely tired at 330 and end up bailing. Sorry Ace! I swear I'll catch you there soon.
It was great seeing lots of TAs in attendance - especially newcomers jesse/jsibilin and heidi/avbgirl. Both of them are fully converted and will be returning :p Jesse you picked a great time to cave and come. What a ing party!!

zone was quite the lonnnnnnnng day. was there 8 til close. joe/fab: pretty good. opening slot so was a little mellower. dekoze: 134 bpm madness. he was bouncing like a maniac. greg gow: solid vince: fully enjoyed while in the dollar downing some beers. wish i had more energy to rock out to it roaches: got to fulfill their fans needs and played some tuuunnes. YM: well... mackett was doing some solid mixing and dropping some bombs. Ace is ace lol in their words... nuff said
good times. certain characters were in full force lol. i had my workout for the week. |

Okay, I know I have said I would never goto this place and swore I would not step a foot inside. I guess it was because I was planning to end my night with Deko-ze in the drink but that did not happen??????? I park in the mental health underground parking (you know in case I had to permanently move there after CZ) ... I jug a redline and I am wide awake. I pay cover check my sweater then finally step in this darn place ... as soon as I move closer into the darkness I get these strange vibes. The emotions i was going through changed from scared to nervous -- tense then calm ... then very relaxed and happy!(that was around the time Deko-ze was just hitting the decks WOW,, I have never heard anything like this from deko-ze) I kept on thinking in my head this place will make me do bad things:whip:
jchung/kotsy... u guys got stamina !!! how on earth can u do guv all night then zone all morning-afternoon???
I would say the best place to dance is in the front of the booth.. I love all the different sorts of places to chill and sit down. Adjusting your eyes coming in and out of the patio hurt !! next time shades are a must:toocool:
Can someone PLEASE tell me why is sounds soo good in there??? I mean it must be the insulation and the size of the room or the speakers not being too loud (Bass is perfect imo) ...I dunno which sounded better dubfire's grindhouse or D-Unity's Shake it.
I hear thursday nights are good at CZ but I will not miss another long weekend event at CZ!!

| ughhh SOOOOOOO sad i missed this :( i wanted this to be my first night there too!! next time my friend will be forewarned to get his own way home so I don't have to drive back to oakville :D |

actually the sound wasnt in top form. apparently some speakers were blown. id give the sound a 7.5/10. 10 being its usual form |

I always thought the sound at CZ was the best I heard in Toronto |
