I don't think that's a good idea. If your girlfriend becomes unavailable for a while, you'll have no one around you.

I know. I just don't know how to make friends. I am socially inept. I doubt that I could even attract a new gf if my current one broke up with me.

Nah, this economy is convincing me to spend less on alcohol. It is no longer my friend until the stock market rallies back to where it was a year ago.
