Good point. Thanks for having a sense of humor. Of course this comes from the same person who posted an SNL video of Tina Fey doing a great Sarah Palin impression and saying it deserves its own thread. This seems like as good a thread as any to put this in without the need to create a silly thread...
True story...so anyway, way in the past I know I have said that I thought Barack sounded an awful lot like The Rock when he talks. I think I went so far as to call him "The Rock" Obama. Anyway, that's beside the point (and apparently my youtube check shows I am not unique in my thinking)...
So today, I escape from the brutal markets for a quick bite to eat across the street. They're playing a Barack speech on TV and I'm reading the closed captioning and he's talking about going to some restaurant to get pie...because he likes pie. As it goes on and I'm reading, all I can think is, Jesus Christ, is the Rock writing his speeches? I think he's stealing one of the Rock's best old routines!
So, lo and behold, I just happen to check on youtube and someone has done the legwork for me. This just cracks me up. (I guess it was an older speech than I thought too, or he's repeating himself).
/and yeah, I used to watch wrestling back in the days of yore. Twas a guilty pleasure.
