Nah, either "Jazzkantine" or "Flying Pics"

Is Renaissance pulling a GU on us? :nervous:

Vol 09: Satoshi Tomiie
Vol 10: Dave Seaman
Vol 11: Satoshi Tomiie

However, I thoroughly enjoyed Vol 9, and although this is definitely not the same style as that marvelous comp I haven't heard anything bad from Satoshi comp-wise (i.e. his Nubreed release, his Renaissance 3D effort, or his Masters Series Vol. 9 mix) or even from Renaissance for that matter (a big exception is Lawler's 'Viva London' though).

Looking forward to this. :)

Take it back a little further to expand the context somewhat:

Vol 07: Dave Seaman
Vol 08: Sandy Rivera
Vol 09: Satoshi Tomiee
Vol 10: Dave Seaman
Vol 11: Satoshi Tomiee

Depsite this, Renaissance never seemed to have the same mix comp residents as did GU, with Deep Dish and Nick Warren trading off back and forth.

By the way, did anyone actually like the Sandy Rivera installment? Haven't seen too many remarks on that one.

True, I forgot Seaman did Vol 7 as well.

I did and I liked it. It's definitely very different than the rest of the series but it's a nice cheesy-sexy-funky house comp :D

Couldn't agree more, plus the way Satoshi layers it over the track before leading into the breakdown and drop is absolutely wonderful.

Well, I haven't been keeping up as of late, and this one came out of nowhere.:D Absolutely superb, just like last year's comp. Lighter and bouncier, but the programming is impeccable. Pretty brave stuff for Renaissance, IMO.

Well, it's been on my rotation since I got it. Very enjoyable comp from Satoshi, pure and undeniable class.

Like pretty much everything coming out these days it's very techy, but it has the "Satoshi touch" if you know what I mean. Deep-Tech House if there is such a thing. Highly recommended from my end ;)

On another note...does anyone have any release info on "Federleicht - On The Streets (Kollektiv Turmstrasse Let Freedom Ring Remix)"?

Anyone?

This is definitely the best thing Satoshi's mixed to the date on Renaissance if you ask me! Just can't forget about those body shaking first part of the Disc 1 and the same thing about the 2nd disc. Real beauty which could've been even better if he'd put some more deep house oriented tracks at the end of both discs instead of closing them using some 'techier' tracks like the Radio Slave mix. Nevertheless a piece of art! Keep it up ST! :D
