i went to london on one of them day tripper things, it might be intresting to the historian, but not to joe public, i kinda found it boring to my taste! its too much a business central for backpackers to walse around pointing saying "oo look at that shop, wish we had one" :p

one tip tho: stay away from neo's house, i hear its rat invested, the council have been called, but thats like waiting for a train :p

Yeah Downing street is like a back alley next to some busy road in London :D

Is it still legal to have a spliff in the street in parts of London?

I think Chesterfield is closer to London than Paris. Paris is a good 200+ miles from London I think.

We are probably closer to Amsterdam than London :)

Ok I'm a Londoner!!!!

It depends where you are staying, how long you have, what u wnat to do , adn how much money you have!!

1: if you are staying in greater london, say near Heathrow Airport, you'll be near the trains. They can take you directly into the Centre of London.

If you've never been to London, then you SHOULD go down Oxford Street, Picadilly Circus, Shaftesbury Avenue (especially in the Evening)

For shoppping for Casual CLothes, Visit Covent Garden, they have Records stores, loadsa shops, expecially a really good one, I forgoet its name, ... Cyberdog or something ? ;)

Camden Town, as mentioned before, has a few record shops, but make sure it looks trance friendly before you go in!

For the expensive designer labels, Bond Street, New Bond Street, etc etc are near Oxford Circus.

For travelling around London, ask the cashier for a "One Day Travelcard" this is cheap, and entitles you to unlimited usage of our public transport (Trains, Underground (or MEtro to Europeans) and Buses)

I would not advise you to come to London during the 2nd to the 4th of June as its our Queens Jubilee celebration, and the whole city will be very crowded.

If I've missed something out that you want to know just ask!

:)

Hehe sorry for not responding earlier..
well im going there on june 14:th.
Anything going on in London that i should know about?

I will live near central station:)
I will have £200 with me. Anything i can buy clothe and record wise?

Okey i have one question
Do you know any good resturants, clubs etc?
dj_mdma
The Camden palace has Peach, which is a good night
Heaven is doing a monthly Gatecrasher thing

Resturants, well, There's loadsa good ones, but expect to pay a lot cos they're are all really good! Of course you could always go to McDonalds :p

I recommend Nobu, a Jap resturant, thats really good, great food, good service, and the presentation is pretty good. But expect to pay £75 for two people  (it is in Knightsbridge, which is where the Harrods store is)

Go to the Trocaderom thats a cool place, situatited in Picadilly Circus, you can't miss it!

All the cool stuff is in that area, so just explore, i'm sure u'll find something!
