i fail to see what this has in common with anything Hardy worked on.

Juan Atkins would not play this, and if he did i would eat my just for you:)

Why would the tribute have to be something that he would play :conf:

Bringing what he did to a new audience is awesome, imo.
elFreak
ron hardy was not a producer/dj sam.

he was the man responsible for helping detroit techno take it to the next level, hence my mention of juan atkins.

this has nothing to do with him. It is not the end of the world...but i still think it is a little foul.
iammesol
And your point? I'm not even defending them. I'm just really confused why you're upset about this. :p
elFreak
i got mad when a talentless p diddy raped biggy's death:p

I guess I can see myself weirded out when the equivalent to Justin Timberlake makes a pop song about how awesome Carl Cox was back in the day. lol

Could it be considered a sort of "tribute" since edm and DJing as we know them today basically all stem from the Chicago house / Detroit techno scenes of yesteryear?

Personally, I think it is kinda weird for his name to just be slapped on this, but what can you do.
elFreak
Bitch about it on an internet forum.
