| I've used Joost for over a year... great quality streaming out from my laptop to my plasma. It looks like as of today, you don't need a plugin, so it seems easier... I haven't used it today so I can't say if the non-plugin version is worse or not |

well you can just get a TV Tuner card..
You can plug the cable directly into your computer and watch TV there. You can also record television shows.
But if you already have cable, there's only one thing you need.

I've personally never used one, but have friends who have them and love them.
You can also get a program so you can watch it on your blackberry. This would be actually somewhat decent on the new Storm.
I think there is an iPhone one coming out soon too.
I actually have by Sony called Location Free TV. It works well too. I bought it because its compatible with my PSP.
So anywhere I can WiFi, I can watch my digital cable with 500+ channels. Not to bad considering its not that hard to find WiFi in the city.
It's also good if you're in another country and want to catch the local sports game but isn't on TV down there.
