I don't know... maybe. But he didn't go looking for Obama to get in the limelight, it was Obama that knocked on his door (so to speak), and everything that has happened since is a result of him getting Obama to say what he really wants to do with our money, which is spread the wealth around. Everyone is losing sight of what that really means, beacuse the focus has switched to the all out assault on Joe. He very well could be taking advantage of the situation now though... but that still remains to be seen.

Obama didn't walk up to Joe and say "Hey, what do you think of my tax policies?" Joe asked Obama the question that clearly showed that Joe didn't understand the tax policies in question. Since then, McCain has done nothing but run with the ignorance. He speaks of Joe the Plumber all the time as some sort example for what Joe Everyman thinks, ignoring the fact that Joe admits that McCain's policies will take more money out of his pocket.
