Repost: Neat Turntable Animation

Mario posted this in the DJ booth, but I thought it warranted a repost here. I think the animation is pretty awesome - so cool to see people retain an interest in more hands on or "analog" animation in the age of Attack of the Clones. :(

Also, the piano in the track that's playing is money.

I'm almost embarrassed to admit I like an Elliot Smith song as much as I do :p

Thanks go to Mario for tracking it down. :)

Wow, that was indeed awesome. I got to say I was pretty bored up until he stops the turntable for the first time and puts the animation going again and I figured out how the whole thing works :p

Pretty amazing

inconspicuous
neat.

The combination of the song and animation could be used as an ad for world peace or some damned cute thing or another - so long as you don't listen to too much of the lyrical content, that is. :stongue:

Oh man - I just realized what the Elliot Smith song reminds me of:

"And my heart feels like a mouthful of sores, a mouthful of sores ain't no fuuuunnnn!"

:stongue:

I wish I could get a full version of that!

There is a box with an "embed" tab directly below the video on the LL page. :)

I've not seen one done on a turntable before. Only those ones where you look through a slit and it shows a horse galloping or some such. Clever stuff...
