I couldn't find a specific place for introduction threads, so if I missed it, my apologies and mods please move this to the proper area.
My name's Andrea and contrary to my username, I'm not an emo kid...though I used to be. I was all emo but then I happened to meet a couple of DJs here in Denver who unceremoniously removed me from the scene, gave me a crash course on EDM leading to me falling in love with the stuff (once I realized the West Coast Electro scene is sorta emoified trance and electro anyway) and sent me into the wild blue yonder. I've only been actively going to clubs and raves for about 9 months now, so I've come here primarily to learn.
Okay, and I'm also a refugee from the Despair Faction (AFI) forums where I was the only person openly into EDM and I was pretty much hated because I'm not into punk rock really...which is sort of sacrilegious for an AFI fan apparently. I got called a e-tard one too many times (which I am not) so I decided to check things out over here.
So yeah, please don't hate me? |
