Where exactly in the original post were we asked "What is the most rare and or financially valuable vinyl you own?"?

:conf:

I'm really confused as to why anyone would think their definition of "prized" really applies to anyone else at all, or that their commentary on what is and what is not worthwhile would have any effect on the opinions of those you're criticizing.

Ricardo Villalobos - 808 the bassqueen

Ricardo Villalobos - Alcachofa

Dye Witness - what would you like to hear again?

I rarely buy vinyls, singles/maxis priced above 20 euros and multiple disc LPs above 40-50 euros because i usually can find them for more reasonable prices somewhere so there's no point for me in paying like 3-5x the price just because some lameass sellers on Discogs, GEMM or eBay are asking that much.

The actual financial value of the records have no meaning for me whatsoever, it's all about the musical value or something emotional/memory related to the record itself. Not how much they're worth. As i have a sense of reason, i don't feel like paying 100 euros or more for a highly limited 12" if the regular 12" of it is available as new for 6 euros.

Sorry, perhaps were not on the same line (im not criticizing, just correcting something in my point of view, IF one looks at things from the financial point of 'prized'-view).
But with most prized i was assuming prizing with respect to costs, thus a financial way, not emotionally. But as ive said in my previous reply, i can understand that might not be the point of view for most reply-ers in this topic. Hence, i gave my commentary on things, without trying to judge or criticize anything. Im sorry if, considered in your eyes, i did, and im sorry im a member of this forum. Sorry for misleading this topic's subject for the last 5 or such posts :p
Last but not least; dont forget that I/'we' as native speaking people always have to find the good interpretation of one's post, which is sometimes rather difficult, although i can speak and read quite good english. So, if im slightly off topic, dont get too excited at first ;) . Were not all American (luckily)

Two KLF singles my brother bought me as presents. One of them- Doctorin' The Tardis as the Timelords- was #1 the day I was born. They're only worth a few quid, but mean a lot to me.

Hopefully, by the beginning of next week, it will be Bjork- Kindness Kind (Delikate Imposters remix).

It's not all that of an obscure bootleg, but it's somewhat hard to track down.

I've been speaking with Freak off and on for several months over purchasing it, and am finally getting around to it. :D

That's definitely in the top 3 vinyls of my collection. Love that track so, so much.

Other vinyls I treasure:

Brainchild - Symmetry C - (lange breakbeat mix)
Sasha - Airdrawndagger
God Within – Raincry (Vance Musgrove remix)
Tomas vs Filterheadz - Sunshine Remixes
Panoptic - Surface
Matthew Dekay - Higher Thoughts and the Space Mountain Tablet EP

I have quite a few, but off the top of my head I'm fond of my signed (Russell Barker) mint copy of Tastexperience - Tantrix{R.T.X.R}

http://www.discogs.com/release/33294

I have a couple copies of Kamaya Painters releases on Black Hole, King of Clubs, Solarstone, James Holden...most of the big time trance tracks of the late 90's and early 2000's
