i'm hoping the new high-efficiency furnace at my new place is way better than what i had last year. the thermostat never went above 60ºF all winter, and monthly energy bills were still close to $300.

lots and lots of clothes. thats my bit kinda, when its too hot you can do a few things, and after that you're ed. if its too cold there's always more you can do

mezz, don't you have a lumberjack beard? That must keep in better than when I build a chrysalis out of my power ranger blankets and hang from the bannister.

When you live in the middle of a city, all the outdoorsy stuff doesn't really work. It's just cold with snowy roads. I don't ski, board, Xcountry, snowshoe, or do any other winter outdoor sport, so that kills some fun for me. The colours are pretty, I'll give you that one. Blankets are for beds, my apartment has no fireplace, and hot cocoa is too fattening.

Besides, In the summer I get to wear all my cute bright colored American Apparel stuff. My winter wardrobe is still stuck in emo mode with loads of hooded long-sleeves and stuff like that. American apparel dosn't really make good winter clothes.

American Apparel was great when they were cheap, but those s got greedy and now charge twice as much for the same merchandise. Totally not worth it now. That said, I did own this hoodie from them that I absolutely loved, cost me about $30 when I bought it. It's now somehow missing and I want to replace it, but not for over $50...cunts
