These are the origin tonearms for upgraded sound.
They are quite expensive but judging from the gear there the only want the very best.

yeah, I'm not even sure what kind they are, but everything in that booth is top notch. I personally never liked those tone arms. They sound great obviously, but they're a little tricky to dj on. Skipping is much more of an issue with those than the normal ones. |

Perhaps, but A&H are crap to play on IMO
I hate them. They might sound good but they're crap to play on.
There's other options like Ecler and Urei anyways. |
You have to understand that there are many, many people who prefer to play on an A&H mixer. There's a reason so many touring DJs will request it. Besides, most major clubs have the option of switching out to a DJM if said touring DJ requests it. |

can't complain. :) As cool as the Urei is though, I'd prefer a more current model in Love's booth. There are no gains on that mixer, which kind of limits the way you can mix a bit. I also don't like only being able to cue one channel at a time. Not complaining though lol |

A&H still sucks.
The lows cut far too much and the curve is sharp on the EQ's.
Not to mention the older A&H have piss poor channel levels meters. Four lights? WTF? Their cueing facilities suck as well.
Of course this is nothing new to you. |

when you hit cue on the older a&h mixers, the master vu's become the vus for whatever is cue'd.
the lows are a high pass filter, not an eq, so dont turn them down so far and they dont cut so much. |

We had a great party this week end at our residency, we moved from room we used to play to one of the biggest of the nightclub, i dont have good pictures atm, im waiting them from friends, only got cellphones one.
Booth :
1x Rodec MX300
2x cdj 1000 mk3
2x technics sl 1210 with ortofon
my macbook pro, with sl-1 and brand new nanopad (i love that thing)
2x d&b Max speakers
1x d&b d12 amp
Main sound :
8x d&b Q1 speakers
12x d&b Q-sub
5x d&b d12 amp
That sound system was incredible, perfect sound and bass which made me feel my hair was moving
Here is video a friend done in the last 10 min, i was trying to find what i could put next and that 2 drunk djs were doing the show.
