I like what I do, but I hate working. I'd rather sit at home and do nothing.

I'm definitely still getting my feet wet at work - but for the most part I really dig it as well. Plenty to do, time goes by quickly, and I get to work on some pretty neat and a super wide range of technologies.

What do you do?

Lira
Quite on the contrary, I love my job(s).

I work for a company that develops and manufactures commercial, medical, military, and residential technologies of all sorts. The company itself probably does most of its work in large scale wireless infrastructures, but the main project I'm working on right now are ultrasound machines that give eerily detailed images of a fetus. I do a combination of tech-work and EHS (environmental health/safety), and deal with a lot of the hazardous waste products from the process of creating circuit boards (i.e. lead, various heavy metals and chemicals used in the wash process, massive amounts of excess solder paste).

For the most part my groups (company is divided into teams of engineers, assemblers, technicians, etc. based on their client(s)) largest client is GE Medical.

Edit: Good lord grammar are hard. :sadgreen:
