If we are lucky it will not hit, but even it didn't it's energy would disturb the magnetism so heavily it would set the earth of it's regular orbit so the original poles would melt and cause catastrophes ending humanity. The magnestism will also cause solstice and heavily damage our electricity...
The planet is on an orbit which the closer it gets encountering our solar system the faster it will accelerate due to the elliptical shape. Meaning even if it looks small now, the growth of size will be exponentially..:)
