| Can someone run me through saving V-Station Presets and Banks in Logic 8 ??? |

i can name my patches no prob but if i export them and then import them again the are named Import 101, Import 102..........
Same if i import Adam Van Baker presets, they all named Import 101, Import 102..........
Anyone know why this is ??? |

| That happens when you import and export MIDI files from V-Station. Does Logic have it's own proprietary preset format similar to how Cubase has .fxp/fxb files? You could try renaming and saving them that way. |

This is because V-station doesn't load or save patchnames by the import/export (don't know why).
You have to import your midi/sysex bank, rename all the patches, one by one manually, and them save from the Logic plugin host menu "Save Setting As...". After this you will have a *.aupreset patch bank with all patchnames saved and you can open it by the host command "Load Setting".
I did this manual task in all of my V-station prefered banks when migrated to Mac, including Vengeance, Synthation and Adam Van Baker.
