ya the first and second (same table just front/back view) was brought to the club by redbull (and i believe it's still there) since they sponsored alex gaudino. the last picture its not actually a booth rather its a wraparound the basic booth setup thus protecting the equipment while being a big promo. better view?

| i played on that exact same table in the first pic (of jchungs post)in buffalo about a year ago.. wonder if they do mass produce those or if that one just gets around. i also thought its a weird thing for red bull to get into.. |

i know red bull had sponsored dj/production clinic of some sort last year
but eh. whatever promotes their product, esp since red bull is used a lot as a mix |

I don't think that Red Bull being in the scene is weird at all... it's part of their strategy.
They market themselves to different niche groups and spend money on 'opinion leaders' to use/promote their drinks within that group.
Red Bull focuses a lot of their customized marketing to two markets; sports and music.
Red Bull first started marketing their drinks in the 'rave scene' (quoting Tony Chapman, CEO of Capital C). They built hype about it by first making it a very scarce product and actually told bar tenders to give it to certain people... the 'opinion leaders'
I heard they are also trying to focus more on different cultural events (arts/music).
Us 'ravers' need Red Bull to give us wings so we can dance all night. |
