So this has begun. Today we had second games. Some info:

12 teams are in 4 groups. The twelve teams were drawn into groups of three. Each group will play a double round-robin and the best team will advance to the semi-finals.
After that:
Winner Group D vs. Winner Group B, Winner Group A vs. Winner Group C. Note: Any two clubs from the same country will be paired together for the semi-finals. Home ice advantage of the second game goes to the team with the better records in the group stage. The semi-final games will be played on December 10, 2008, and January 7, 2009.
The final games will be played on January 21 and 28, 2009. Home ice advantage of the second game goes to the team with the better records in the group stage.

Their homepage shows one game every day there are games. So head there next wednesday. Games begin 7:30 PM GMT. I don't know yet what game they will show though. |
