please give it a try...ive tried them a week ago, they sent 1 sample to my friends studio, they are extremly light weight and ultra comfortable.sounds and feels way better than the 1000`s and is very durable.i loved the removable mini xlr.padding has difrent material so it wont easly wear out...ive owned 2 1000`s (sponsored) they both broke

everything about it is great... except for the price.

close to hd-25`s close to 7506

but not quite...

its seeling point IMO: its built kinda solid

Tried these and thought the sound quality was absolutely superb, built far better than the 1000's as well.

Far too expensive tho for me to consider.

I'm gonna see if I can't check them out at NAMM.

Honestly, am I the only one who thinks 7506's suck ?

My Sennheiser 212's were easier to mix with and offered better isolation, felt better and were lighter.

i don't like them either.
the ear pads are way too shallow, making my ears rub the hard plastic inside (with only the mesh of the ear pad between) and cause irritated skin.
they have an ear piercing sound that makes me go crazy.
the isolation is rather poor also.

overall i'd say that they're probably not bad, but they're definitely not good for me at least.

They are beyond bad!

Utter turd. Nothing I make on them translates well either.

MY 580's Sennheiser on the other hand are a bloody dream to use.

imo, I don't think they are good for DJ'ing. I have had a pair for 3 years, and they sound great for just sitting and listening, but I don't use them ever to spin out anywhere. My trusty HDJ1000's that I got when they first came out are going strong and work perfectly.

Again, I dont even like them for that. Maybe it's just me. I dunno, either way i have really grown to dislike them. A lot.

Tried these at NAMM.

They are not bad, much more comfortable than they look...Isolate well, and have decent crunch...

But for $450? No f*ckin' way :wtf:

Nah, you are not alone, a lot of people swear by them though. I have my Sennheiser HD25 headphones and have always found them the best for me.

But headphones are a very personal choice, different heads, different ears etc. There are many out there who will go ahead and get a set of headphones because someone they admire has them and may not have considered the technical aspects. In most cases they will still have a good pair of headphones at the end of the day.

Never got on with pioneer headphones and the price on those is definately not worth the money. What a rip off!

Found the technics headphones mentioned earlier to be to bulky and didn't sound good in my ears. Had a pair and gave them away.

Cheers
