woohoo 1st half was pish, bit shaky, fantastic 2nd half!

bring on the germans!

both teams were so lucky, suprised not to see the much talked about skill of the lions there, but never mind!

1-1 full time, i thought that both teams played well in the second half (i missed the first half), but i think ireland will struggle to get in to the next phase though.

unfortunately ireland didn't win that match, robbie keane hit the post, ahhh so close
but we will destroy saudi as they're an amateur side
it all comes down to germany, they dont need a result in the match against ireland, so maybe a draw. that german side is a disgrace to past greats, so it wont be a shock imo
if only we had roy keane :(

We deserved a penalty though Song ing handballed it, nevermind its too late. We certainly do miss Keane, I don't think Staunton and Breen can handle high world class strikers, central defense is our weak point and without Keane putting in the tackles in midfield and stopping people breaking forward its looking grim.

I think the Germans will definatly be out for a win, they will want a comfortable way to win the group with no worries, but what works in out favour is they already have won a game, their under the pressure to get a result.

Robbie Keane and Damien Duff I really hope they get in gear, them two lads have very bright futures, hopefully Saudi Arabia will just be some cannon fodder for us but who knows, I'm quite worried about it all.

i saw an interview with mick mccarthy today and he said that germany were beat by wales, so we can definately get a result
i believe we can do it :happy2:
