| i just got an ecler nuo4 and i decided to try out traktor 3 with it. I've hooked it all up and i've managed to set the basic things like play/cue and stuff to the buttons on the mixer so i know its connected. the problem i'm having is that there's no sound signal going through the mixer at all. is this because i need a sound card with 2 stereo outputs to connect to each channel to act as the cdjs? or is there some way i can set it up so that i don't need a sound card? any help would be greatly appreciated, thx guys =) |

| Depending on the application, it doesn't have to be an expensive one. |

That will be awesome once you have it configured proper.
Really like Ecler mixers, I use the Ecler in Traktor and wish I could afford a real Nuo4. |

if you have a laptop, a good PCMCIA soundcard is the ECHO INDIGO DJ, which as 2 stereo outputs. One will connect to the COMPUTER IN on the NUO4 (this is the MIX output from Traktor) and the other will connect to PFL IN on the NUO4 (this is the PFL or CUE in Traktor).
OR, you can just connect the output of each virtual deck, to the LINE inputs on the NUO4. |

Beat me to it. I'm sort of in the same situation, but I got the IndigoDJ first to use with Traktor, and went with a Nuo4 with the intention of using the MIDI with it. |

| yea, the mixer is real nice, built real well and everything. i like how much space you get with each knob and stuff. can't wait to get it up and running with traktor. just gotta look for a soundcard that isn't too pricey.. is there anything even cheaper than the indigo that is worth checking out? |
