Hey This is a difficult topic for me. So I will have to share with you guys. I know what to put but I want yours opinion. It does't care if the trackz are old coz many of the people that will be there dont know much about electronic music:
1> First Tune to open the set (very important):
a> Push - Universal Nation (then I will check the best version. I hear it in the Yves De Rutier Set at Trance NRG 30.09.00).
b> Aria - Dido (AvB Lost Religion Mix)
c> Obviously more trackz accepted ! :=) ...

2> Body of the set (not in particular order):
a> AvB & Tiesto pres. Alibi - Eternity (I-LOVE-THIS-TRACK).
b> Clapton meets Bowlen - Elements (Meteor Seven Rmx)
c> Mekka - DiamondBack (Original Mix)
d> AirWave - Mysteries Of Life (Original)
e> Max Graham - Falling Together (Promo)
f> SOLAR STONE - SEVEN CITIES (V-1 MIX)
G> Marco V - Recovered
h> Marco V - Tolerance
i> Safri Duo - Played-A-Live (A Must)
j> Trance Generators - Connected (Gigi Lav Rmx)
k> Upserver - Talk To Me (Dj Alici Rmx)
l> Rank1 - Many Miles, Too Soon
ll> Ascension - Someone (Slackers & Original Vocal mix)
m> Ian Van Dahl - Castles In The Sky (Absolom Rmx)
n> Binary Finary - 1998 (PVD Rmx)
o> Junk Project - Control
p> Major League - Wonder where you are (DJ Tiesto and Armin present)
q> Mora Trackz Appreciated (PAUL OAKENFOLD ONES PLS ).

3> Ending of the set:
a> Cygnus X - The Orange Theme (Last track from Yves De Rutier at Trance NRG 30.09.00)
b> Rank1 - AirWave (I dont know about this one)
c> Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel (this one is candidate)
d> Need more trackz here. It's bery poor. And at the beggining.

I know you are gonna help me with this. Thankx this is the best trance info forum in the internet

Dude, you have to put together a set that you think will take the crowd on a journey. (even though you may only have an hour or so to do that) I like to have a general idea of what my set is going to be before I play out, but as of recently I have been forgetting about what I had planned halfway threw my set. I change it up a bit, to go with the crowd, and control them.
Your playlist looks good, but don't get too hung up on it.

Peace,
Steve :D

never should a playlist be made for a set.. unless theres a special requirement for it.. a "Tiesto" set.. even then.. u shud always keep options open

Try not to play too many anthems such as .. well .. most of the tracks you listed. You should reserve these tracks for the climax of your set and play some less epic tunes as the bulk of the set. That way your florfiller track will have an even greater effect on the dancefloor.

And I absolutely agree with the general opinion about not having a pre-planned set. Just go with the vibe (but always know which two tracks you'll play next).

you will know what to do and play when you see AND feel your crowd. that's right YOUR crowd, what you want to do is take them on a journey. they act as the "engine" and you act as the "driver". You must break them down, what I mean by break them down is you have to take them down low and slow, then build them up again with some epic breaks. basically, you will know what to do when your crowd is out in front of you. remember...you have to work for the "nod"...every DJ knows what the "nod" is...late.

Since you need comfirmation on your playlist? I'm guessing this has to be your first time playing for a large crowd, so I suggest you go for a pre-planned set. You won't be the greatest thing on earth, rather nervous actually, so any load that can be taken off you should be, one of them is having a pre-planned set. You just want to go out there and do your best not to screw up and having a pre-planned set that matches right will help you out enormously, you'll get more comfrotable the next times around.

Secondly, part of your character as a DJ is to pick your own set, you shouldn't ask other people, pick what sounds good to you and arrange it in the same way.

One Step up at a time, don't do what other people want/think you should do, listen to advice from more experienced dj's but do what feels right for you.

Cheers

Hey Man ! :=)
I dont want recomendations. I want only your opinions and one or two tunes I maybe be forgetting (I am sure of that. I always forget something)
This is the pre-playlist I am gonna spin.
But I will re-think it again (PlyList)
I want to tale them slow slow slow down and then go up with a great tune
This forums is the best.
I am with Ib AMbient said slow losw down and then build with a great tune, then keep there for a while then slow slow

Nice selection of tracks, though don't put in Safri Duo, it's crap!

breakdown
unless its the Airscape mix of Played Alive of course..
Paul Wilson
Airscape mix is quite good, thought the original is utter bollocks!
