| yeah. i think it's why i wasn't serious. back in 2003 i might've been but now it's just so much of a joke, with the americanism of trance music, comes the need to absolutely rank everything in a neat little list for reference. Examples of this are when you compare how many names in the early 2 dj mag lists now make it into any list. |

Yeah. I just wish that for one thing, people could at least try to be objective. There we had a guy who wrote that "even though his sets are extremely , I still love the man, so I'll just up this whole poll eventhough I think his sets suck monkeyballs".
I ing love Bam, but that sure as hell doesn't make me think that he was the best dj of 2008. |

I'd say that if the poll didn't automatically pop up at every other window from time to time, we'd be looking at something totally different, and the reason is simply that these :eyespop::tongue3:crazy: guys stay the hell away from MD and COR.
And yes, what I'm implying is that the majority of those who voted for Armin, Tijs, PvD and so on are the :crazy::tongue3:crazy: guys. |
Good point. I think those people have basically been bullied out of MD. A few years ago there were huge wars over most of those Top 10 DJs, arguments over whether they were or not, posts about "negativity" and so on but they've died down and been replaced by The Deadmau5 Show recently. I guess I was foolish enough to believe that meant those people had matured in taste and experience. I only really browse the top three folders and DJ Promotion these days so there's a large part of this site I don't see. |

this is actually a shame. not avb on #1, that was quite predictable. but mou0 on 10 and all this stuff. damn. why not ricardo (who i voted #1) on 10 or 20 at least. he is actually one of the guys who thinks about his music. and certainly not deadwhore. damn.
yeah and westbam on 250-x. i voted for him because i actually listened to him at winterworld 2008 :) but nevermind.
