tip to make wippenberg styled bass sound

I think almost everyone knows this track.
If you have ableton live and nexus you can make similar bass sound. Take deepsaw preset from nexus and add eq-three and vinyl distortion side by side. Remove delay and keep reverb on that deepsaw preset.
Add sidechain and eq and you are very close :)

and another sound is from IMPoscar. Use only osc1 saw sound and add (again) eq-three, eq-eight and vinyl distortion. Add some chorus and little bit noise and you get great bass too. Its important that you add eq-three and vinyl distortion side by side.

What do you mean by Eq-Three and vinyl distortion, are they specific plugs?

Yes they are Ableton Live plugins.

I've been working on a new electro tune: I applied the vinyl preset under the vinyl distortion plug-in in Live to the bassline and it has added a nice gritty sound to the bass. Thanks
