novation remote sl help

im using the novation remotre sl editor to upload templates for plug ins however, when i move a parameter nothing happens on my plug in ? any ideas ?
so far ive made sure each control are set to common port and each channel to common channel. still no joy, any help would be great, cheers |

| Are you using the Automap version of your plugins? |

| no because although ive enabled them all for automap only some of them have (automap) beside them in my sequencer. |

| i think i now know the problem, when i upload the template from the editor it has to be a .vstxml template but instead i can only choose .syx? any ideas ppl ? |

Weird. Which DAW do you use. I'm on Ableton and no probs although I just use midi-mapping within the DAW. Maybe re-enable the Automap VST's you need and do a re-scan of your VST folder in your DAW? |

after much fiddling abot ive realised where i was going wrong. i cant use .vstxml as its not there to choose however, aslongas i know the cc numbers for each control in the vst i can just assign them and it works :) however i am having trouble finding the cc numbers for rob papens predator so im just going to use automap for it :)
and im using cubase studio 4 |
