Can you play m4a or AAC songs purchased from itunes in the cdj series players?

I think only MP3s and audio CDs are supported.

Your best bet is to burn them to audio CDs or convert to mp3s if that's your thing.

While this is probably not the intended scope of your question, you could play them through software with the CDJs as the control device.

I am not 100% certain either, but in the case you have cdj 800 mk1's, then I'm almost certain the answer would be no. If they're mk2's, then anomaly sounds about right.

Correct:

1. CDJ-800 MK1's - audio cd only.
2. CDJ-800 MK2's - audio cd's and MP3 CD's.

But also remember:
iTunes tracks will ONLY play (in aac format) within iTunes (or on an ipod, etc), due to DRM. If you purchase iTunes PLUS tracks, they do not have DRM and can be played in other applications (like Traktor).

Best bet: Burn audio cd's from iTunes, then you can play them everywhere.
